Persona-style agents are fun to name, but juggling Claude Code, Codex, ChatGPT and more calls for a single interface. Right now the answer might be to build it myself: a filterable Kanban board with a direct line to each agent.
One of the more fun parts of the "persona" style agents is coming up with good names for them.

Credit to the team formerly known as Cursor, Grok Bot is finding a home in my day to day, even if Codex and Claude Code are still my go to for different tasks, with the ChatGPT desktop app my most used.
What I really want is a single interface on top of all of it to help me manage this, and right now I think the correct answer is to build it myself. My intuition is I need a filterable Kanban view as the main interface with cards that are a direct line to whatever agent is working on something. Herdr has established something interesting here as a packaged way to manage many diverse agents, but I'm over TUIs now - there's a reason the vast majority of people use desktop gui apps.
Anybody else having as much fun as I am?
The most productive use of my time is often putting the agents on do not disturb — but that red notification badge keeps paying out little dopamine hits.
After a year with Claude Code as my daily driver, the Codex desktop app's interface for managing many agent threads and automations has me reaching for it more and more.
Right model, right task. In Claude Code you can pin a model per skill—I drop to Sonnet or Haiku when the full power of Opus isn't needed to stay inside my limits.
