The Compute Party Is Entering a New Phase

Well I'm certainly not letting my fleet of automations sit idle for 5 days, even if 2 of them are over the weekend when most of them sleep so I'm not tempted to check on them.

I'm having a flashback to March when all of a sudden my Claude 20x max plan started hitting usage limits as more people woke up to what was possible at the same time I was figuring out how to run 3-10 parallel tasks at a time personally.

I spent a lot of the spring into the summer doing token budget engineering and buying another max plan, etc.

Then I started using codex and it was back to tokens go brrrrrrr resets for everybody lets party!!!!!

Looks like the party is entering a new phase and I get to go through that optimization exercise again.

There are a lot more scheduled automations happening this time around - a lot of them running loops.

I can pretty clearly see a world where we're going to pull these workflows out into something versioned and separate from what I've tried so far that can work across multiple people, computers, and harnesses.

I am pretty certain we have a lot less compute available than we're going to need.

If anyone figures out the equivalent of the GUI interface to these things that is truly accessible to most people, this is going to get much more wild on the demand side.
